Where to get clean up crew in Joburg

What is the cheapest you have found hermits and snails in Joburg lately. I refuse to pay R100 a pop. Or is there anyone here who have some extra CUC that they need top get rid of.

I think I paid about R70 for a blue-legged hermit at VIP northgate

That said, I need some snails too!

R70 is better than R100. On 5 hermits that is 2 for free.

If you need more than 20 hermits/snails, I think it will be cheaper to drive down to dbn, collect CUC and drive back. You could leave Saturday morning early and still be back before dinner. Or get a dbn guy to post you some, shouldn't be more than R100 for posting quite a few.

Dont waste your time and petrol. They dont have any hermits or snails in stock. They will be getting some more in 2 weeks time.

They're probably selling local ones at that price. What species was it?

I don't think they will be local. The difference with Animal Kingdom there is that they import their own stuff, whereas most of the other LFS's here in jhb get from a central supplier in SA, more or less all the same stock at the same time. So they cut out the middle man. They have some awesome fish you don't normally see at reasonable prices, and it is the same on the FW side when I still found them interesting.
