Great that makes me feel ok, now about water changes, when do I start and how much do I change? Also is it normal to have a lot of evaporation?

Up here on the highveld we get a lot of evaporation due to the dry air. Just make sure that you dont allow the water level to drop that much as it will affect the salinity of the tank. Waterchanges will depend on the tank. If you have a high bioload then you need to do more frequent water changes otherwise the quality of the water will deteriate very quickly. The key is stability in the parameters. And more frequent water changes will help with this.

Pic 1 is a zoanthid polyp. Not sure of the 2nd pic. I love blood red fire shrimp. Planning on getting one myself within the next 2 weeks.
