Why don't you insulate your garage?

My garage was sitting at anything from 25-35 degrees and I added a later of Isofoil under the tiles, Aerolite ontop of the ceeling boards and I'm now doew about 10 degrees on my maximum. I have added an aircon that is set to 25 and all tanks are a cool 25-26 degrees. No heaters at all.

Aircon blows on fan most of the time. It uses 500 watts when running on 100% but I doubt it ever gets to that. I also have the added advantage of all the humidity being sucked out.

Sims I want to put my new tank in our Kitchen/dining room but I am worried the corrosion will mess up the aircon?
Glen Just paint your garage roof white. It makes an unbelievable difference,
I cooled my tank last year just by having a 120mm box fan blowing on the sump water about 3 cm above the water levell. worked great but wouldnt work in Durbs cause of the humidity.

i hear what u are saying frans, and i think painting the roof white will be the first thing and then a thermostatically controlled fan onto my glass overflow second.
